Printing is still handled by the same great lab used for prints ordered in-person. There was no way we wanted to sacrifice quality for ease, and we didn’t have to.

Jenny & Shawn – Engagement

I have known Shawn since college, when he told me that he popped the question to his lovely girlfriend Jenny, I knew I had to take them out for a portrait session. We were a little disappointed when it looked like it was going to rain most the day that we had scheduled, but then the sky cleared up and we had a beautiful evening for portraits. Here is a small preview of their engagement session.

A Fun Portrait Idea For Children

Usually when photographing young children most people will recommend that you get down on the ground and shoot from their level.  I would also usually agree with this, but you can make an interesting portrait by shooting from above. Here I surrounded the subject with his favorite toy cars and monster trucks, and shot the photo from almost directly overhead.

Portrait, Child Portrait

I think this adds a personal touch to the portrait, and also offers a creative twist on the perspective.
